hi! idly curious what made blfs drop chromium in ~8.3. i'm seeing smaller distributions also struggle with building it. did you guys also give up? was there a specific last straw? sadly can't seem to be able to search mail archives from 2018.

ovf: my best search in aideing to build packages is the arch linux repo

i have looked that this> archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/chromium

and for me qtwebengine is the next best, with a simple c++ program

make-ca has too many deps imo

nope it was a fail in my links for std{in,out,err}

systemd creates those, some how the sysv iso i used didnt create those, which was in the mountvirtfs i removed cause it conflicted with my initrd

just finalizing the kernel and should be good to boot
