TekkIs there a keyboard shortcut to focus the search area, like ctrl+l for the address bar?
-
PrestAllo, when I click on the Seamonkey tool menu and on translate the page, a tab opens and displays '' Intoverable address ''. It was the same with the version of last year. Do you know why it doesn't work?

PrestI go to the next page seamonkey-project.org and I click on the tool menu and translate the page, and a tab opens and displays' address not found ''. It was the same with the version of last year. Does anyone know why it doesn't work?
-
tommanPrest: that's Google - Google Translate has been broken on SeaMonkey for quite some time for full page translations
-
tommanbecause of... Chromeisms at their JS backend
-
njsgTekk: Ctrl+Shift+S
-
njsgI'm not sure about how this works (help describes it differently), and I suppose it might behave differently without the "search bar", but with the bar visible it focuses the input field
-
njsgtomman: at one pont they wanted... was it some performanceObserver thing? and checked for the base feature with fallback but then required a much newer behaviour without any error handling
-
PrestAlso when I try to connect to my bank to carry out a transaction, the page is continuously recharging and I cannot connect, while with the Edge browser I reach there in less than a second. It was the same with the old version of Seamonkey from last year. Does anyone know why?
-
njsgthe bank probably screwed it up, they may be actually sniffing and rejecting SeaMonkey as not one of the Chosen Few Browsers, or they may just be using specific features that are not widely supported
-
Tekknjsg: doesn't work for me, hrm
-
njsgit's hard to tell the why without knowing which site it is
-
TekkI also found an old doc which said it was ctrl+k, no luck there either
-
njsgTekk: yeah, ctrl+k used to be a shortcut somewhere sometime ago, don't recall exactly where or when
-
njsgI also recall doing this investigation to find a shortcut, and I wondered if it could be local to my profile, but it works in another profile too
-
njsgPrest: *Address* not found at translate could be a DNS issue, I guess?
-
PrestA DNS problem with Google Translate or my system?
