i've built the pre-ch8 system manually of course.. i built 8+ by those scripts .. and i have built a couple RPMs.. i am ready to do the everything of those items

a lfs user never was required. if your env is setup properly, it works fine. It is used as too many ppl do use root cause there are no permission issues. Too dangerous knowing ppl do damage their systems from time to time. So a unpriv. user can help minimizing damage

sure, but who does setup such an env when beginning with LFS? They do after a "rm -rf $LFS/" ran out of control with an unset $LFS...
