Sompi: what was the current situation regarding images in Sanoma websites? I recently saw that there was a change, and they were now advertising only AVIF and WEBP for fingerpori (even though an older one (2009?) does show GIF?)
-
njsg
(fingerpori at hesari)
-
» njsg doesn't really use the hesari website for much beyond the cartoons
-
Sompi
They use whatever Google and Microsoft tell them to use
-
njsg
yes, but is it working, failing, degrading? My experience is somewhat biased because of a noscript surrogate.
-
njsg
(and also because scripts blocked with noscript)
-
njsg
sadly they don't include the full image in the page metadata for embedding, or that'd have been an easy way to at least get it
-
njsg
but IÍ„'m guessing a single media item is rather the exception there :-)
-
Sompi
Everything is degrading and they call it progress
-
njsg
this calls for PROGRESSIVE JPEG.

njsg: let's split wim files across floppy disks that way we can install windows 7 from floppy
-
nsITobin
i wonder if wim will even split that small
-
nsITobin
build successful
-
nsITobin
does someone know why chrome://browser/content/utilityOverlay.js maps to comm's copy?
-
nsITobin
ah
-
nsITobin
% override chrome://browser/content/utilityOverlay.js chrome://communicator/content/utilityOverlay.js
-
nsITobin
yeah can't pull that on central.. utilityOverlay.js needs to be specific for what any ignorant platform consumer may use it for .. looks like devtools
-
nsITobin
-
frg_Away
nsITobin good that central still builds.
-
nsITobin
welcome back frg_Away
-
frg_Away
yeah exhausted. Will probably check out early.

IanN_Away: it occures to me that since Mozilla switched to picking up MOZ_APP_VERSION and friends automagically and since I removed SEAMONKEY_VERSION bits i don't have to do anything on the c-c side that would require me to rebase my build conf patches a third time.. yay for mozilla actually doing something smert!
-
nsITobin
for that package version patch to m-c
-
frg_Away
Is everything needed in the central patch queue?
-
nsITobin
everything done is in the queue, yes. waiting on review.

nsITobin
