Not wanting to revive the discussion in any way, but in case someone is reading the backlog or the logbot and gets confused, we could talk about how vaccines have vastly reduced or even eradicated diseases. polio, smallpox, measles. Also, Bacillus Calmette-Guérin has apparently been successful enough that some places have even used that as an argument to remove it from global vaccination. And things like

masking having supressed "flu waves". Not to mention Tozinameran...
